"Uneven Gate", Dalia Meiri, 2012
'Uneven Gate" is build of parts of human face (lips, eyes and nose) carved in the stones. Each part faces to different direction. I am influenced by Indian culture. I saw in the cave of Elephanta a sculpture of Lord Shiva with 3 heads, each one turns to different side- 3 different sides of the deity: the creator, destructor and preserver of the world.
The sculpture consist of two parts: one is build of 3 stones and the other of two. This unevenly gate is disturbing and the spectators like to complete it.
